Accessibility

The commitment

jens-hartmann.net is built for accessibility — not as an afterthought but in the craft: semantic, valid HTML; every core function works without JavaScript; full keyboard operation with a visible focus ring; sufficient colour contrast; and prefers-reduced-motion is respected.

Standard and assessment

The benchmark is WCAG 2.2 AA (EN 301 549). I test with keyboard and screen reader, and automatically with axe on every build — a self-assessment, without an external audit. Last assessed: September 2026.

Current state

Following that assessment, I know of no barriers. Without an external audit I cannot guarantee full conformance; anything reported to me, I follow up.

Report a barrier

If you hit an obstacle, write to post@jens-hartmann.net. I answer within five working days and will provide the content in an accessible form on request.
